All our international summer courses take place in July and August and are taught in English.

Study in Copenhagen this summer

The 大秀视频 (UCPH) offers 7 international summer courses in 2026.

Depending on the course, you can apply for the courses, if you are:

  • currently studying a bachelor's or master's degree 

  • completed a university degree and wish to gain new knowledge during your summer holiday

  • writing your PhD and find a course relevant to your research

Please note that each course has its own restrictions regarding the applicants.

The dates provided in the list below are only for the on-campus part of the course. 

Some courses may start earlier, for example with preliminary mandatory e鈥憀earning modules as a prerequisite for the on鈥慶ampus part of the course.

How to apply

Application procedures and deadlines

The application procedures and deadlines vary depending on which background you have and which course you wish to apply for. 

The specific application procedures and deadlines for each course can be found on the course webpage or in the course description which you can access through the links above.

Below you can find the different types of participants that can apply for the courses.

You are currently studying a  bachelor鈥檚-, master鈥檚-, or PhD programme at a foreign universityYou must pay tuition fee for the course
You have completed a bachelor鈥檚 or master鈥檚 degree but are no longer enrolled in a universityYou must pay tuition fee for the course

* Please note that not all courses accept all types of students, for example some courses may not accept bachelor's students.

Tuition fee

Tuition fees are calculated on the basis of academic area, credits (ECTS points), and the citizenship of the applicant (EU/EAA citizens or Non- EU/EAA citizens). 

The fee covers participation in classes and a limited number of examination attempts. It does not cover course materials, travel, accommodation, excursions, and living expenses during the course. Any additional obligatory expenses will be listed in the course description.

The specific tuition fee can be found in course description for each course.

Most participants have to pay tuition fee for the summer course, however, there are some exceptions.

Participants enrolled at Danish universities

If you are currently enrolled full-time at a Danish university, you do not need pay tuition fee for participating in a summer course provided that you can document that the course is preapproval by your home university.

Participants not enrolled at a Danish university 

All participants who are not enrolled in a Danish university must pay tuition fees for the summer courses. EU/EEA citizens pay a different rate to citizens from outside the EU/EEA. The specific rate can be found at each separate course description. 

If you are offered a place in a course, you will receive detailed information about payment and deadlines.

Visa

Depending on where you are from, you may need an entry visa to attend the summer course at UCPH. You are responsible for securing a visa for your stay in Denmark.

Please note that the process can be time consuming, so we advise you to apply for a visa as soon as your enrolment has been confirmed and you have paid the tuition fee.

Accommodation

Please note that the summer courses are non-residential. You are responsible for finding and funding your own accommodation for your stay in Copenhagen.

The Housing Foundation Copenhagen

Housing Foundation Copenhagen is an independent foundation associated with the 大秀视频 but not part of the university. The foundation offers accommodation to international students. The service is optional and you are of course welcome to find accommodation on your own.

Please note that the minimum rental period is one month and only available in fixed periods. The rooms depend on availability and the Housing Foundation Copenhagen cannot guarantee rooms for all international students.
