Master of Science (MSc) in Veterinary Sciences

About the programme

Would you like to make a difference for animal health? And would you like to prevent and treat diseases in animals or focus on animal welfare, sustainability, food security or diseases that can spread between animals and humans?

Bachelors of veterinary medicine are required to take the master’s degree programme in veterinary medicine, which gives them the right and responsibility to treat healthy and sick animals.

This programme is only offered in Danish.

What makes the programme at UCPH unique?

If you want to become a veterinarian, you need to complete the master’s degree programme in veterinary medicine. The school has some of the best facilities in Europe and will give you lots of hands-on experience. Also, you will be able to customise the 2.5-year programme to fit your professional preferences. Veterinary medicine at the ´óÐãÊÓÆµ is an EAEVE-accredited programme, which means that you can work abroad.

Why is this programme relevant?

After graduation, you can work as a veterinarian in a private clinic or animal hospital, examining and treating sick animals. You can also focus on production animals and food security or work for a biotech or biomedicine company.
